Pre-Season Work Day this Saturday
Ladies & Gents
Just to remind you that it’s the pre-season workday this Saturday at 9am at The Recreation Ground
We have a few jobs to get done prior to the start of the season so hopefully many hands will make light work.
And don’t forget it knocks £10 off your Grounds mans fee for next season.
A few of the Jobs that are on the list for Saturday ( Get there early to avoid the rubbish ones )
- Mark out pitches and square
- Repair and Wash/Paint sight screens
- Fix net to frame
- Compost heap tidy up
Can you let Martin know if you can or cannot make it, if you cannot make it we still need some Rolling to be done with only a couple of weeks to go until the first game, the crank and seat can be found in the side shed!
Mr Fish has also asked if you can bring your subs with you as well!
See you all on Saturday!

That time of year has come again, if you want The Recreation ground to be a rock hard batting track, the more pre-season rolling we do the better!
If we can do 45 minutes to 1 hour of rolling each it will make life easier throughout the season, and firm up the ground for the early games. It will also knock £10 off your Grounds fee for next season!
The Roller is parked next to the Groundsman shed and the Starter Crank is in the Side shed. If anyone needs instructions on how to start it get in touch with Martin or Phil and they will demonstrate for you.
Also please inform Martin when you have done some rolling and how long you have spent at it.
