About St Mary Bourne Cricket Club
Founded in the mid 1800’s St Mary Bourne has a rich tapestry of cricketing history. The beautiful game has been played in the idyllic surroundings of the Bourne Valley for over 150 years, and the sweet sound of leather upon willow still reverberates around the village on warm Spring afternoons as the local side take on visiting teams.
St Mary Bourne Cricket Club currently run one Saturday league side, who compete weekly in the Hampshire Cricket Leagues Regional Division 1 North. Pitting their skills against rivals from throughout the local area and further afield.
Our Sunday side host a full fixture of friendlies with a select XI taking the field against local opponents, often rivals we have contested against for decades.

New Players
We are a friendly welcoming bunch of guys who above all like to enjoy our cricket and let it be played in the right spirit. We all enjoy a beer after the game and sometimes before, and encourage a family friendly atmosphere at each home game.
We are always on the look out for NEW Club members whether players or supporters. Male or Female, Old or Young you are all welcome to come join us. All abilities, skill sets are welcomed whether you’re an experienced pro or a enthusiastic amateur.
Practice Nets
Outdoor Training
We usually start outdoor practice nets when indoor ones finish, sticking to a Wednesday night, whether permitting from 6pm – 8pm. We have a good fixed artificial surface on our square alongside a variety of other training aids.
